Tap-Tap

Tap.Tap is about responding to our current situation, not only in protecting ourselves, as bearers of culture and heritage, from the onslaught of the pandemic but also future-proofing our plans of action.

PWC of Davao and DACUN’s Internationalization and Linkages Committee partner to implement the  TAP.TAP DAVAO PEOPLE’S MASK TOOL KIT PROJECT.   Interestingly, the resources and network of World Fair Trade Organization Asia and DOST-Philippine Textile Research Institute helped our research team led by San Pedro College to come up with parameters for PWC of Davao and Davao Fashion and Design Council and contextualize WFTO Asia’s HK Mask and PTRI’s ReWear Mask into reusable and washable TAP.TAP Davao People’s Masks.

TESDA and Australia Global Alumni funded the training and workshops of the community beneficiaries.
