BACKGROUND OF THE HUB
The PASIBANTUG HUB envisions the colorful culture of Davao del Sur into the lime light woven into one united and progressive community. As defined, Pasibantug is a Bagobo-Tagabawa term meaning to “showcase”. This hub is a niche that demonstrate the Indigenous Textile Weaving of the Bagobo-Tagabawa community in Davao del Sur; openly for the world to magnify.
This kind of Income Generating Project (IGP) empowers Bagobo-Tagabawa Indigenous Cultural Communities and hone them for their sense of identity by promoting cultural industry to compete on the vents of global arena.
The “PASIBANTUG Hub” armed to form, implement and develop a culturally-based endeavor to showcase the social heritage of the Bagobo-Tagabawa Indigenous Cultural Community (BTICC).
Purposely, initiates accommodation to the following stakeholders to be with and in service amongst Bagobo Tagabawa Women’s Association, DSSC Community, National Culture of Indigenous Peoples, Local Government Units, Municipal Tribal Council, Barangay Tribal Council and the mainstream public.
