Bagane Fiola is a filmmaker from Mindanao, in southern Philippines. His second feature film Baboy Halas (Wailings in the Forest) was selected under the Bright Future non-competition section of the 47th International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2017.
Bagane directed the three featured short films of Tambayayong Dabawenyo Virtual Festival.
In 2015, Pasalidahay started with sporadic film screenings in alternative art spaces in Davao City – from bars to artist spaces. Since then, it has built on programming and screening a diverse selection of films from all over the country, introducing local audiences to regional cinema.
For Tambayayong, Pasalidahay facilitated the virtual workshop of the festival.
